SHOW AT HARRY'S ROADHOUSE OPENS TODAY FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH!
HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS OF THE SET UP...
![]() |
Last night was set up for Harry's Roadhouse show. Unfortunately, Harry's is the most popular spot in town, and even in 17 degree weather with a storm front moving in, the place was packed last night. Set up didn't begin until everyone left the main room, so hanging didn't start until pretty late. Past our normal bedtime, actually! |

Thanks to our greatest gift of living in Santa Fe, we had the help of our neighbors, David and Sharon Newcomb. Best friends ever stuck around until everyone finished their 15th rounds of drinks (I exaggerate!) and coffee and un-pass-upable desserts and went home. Like us, they are NOT late night party people, so I still can't believe their loyalty to stick it out until the job was done. Couldn't have done it without them is NOT an exaggeration! |

![]() For whatever reason, and I know not what that might be, I decided last week to do a papier maché portrait of my faithful beast and studio companion, Shelby the Wonder Dog. Not being the most patient person I know, I needed to do something while I was waiting for the first one to dry, so I started another. |

I found out that one of the many the joyous things about the Santa Fe sun is that no matter what the temperature (which right now is in the 40's) it is STRONG! They dried in no time flat once I decided to put them out on the patio to bask in the rays. |
Once the gesso dried on the first one, it was finally time for the fun part---the painting. The real Shelby sat by patiently and watched this whole process until it was time for their meeting. You can see for yourself how that went.... |
